𝐀𝐍𝐘𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐄𝐀𝐓 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐝’𝐬 𝐏𝐢𝐞
What you’ll need:
- one pound of ground beef
- 1 chopped onion with a
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped up
- carrots and peas, one cup each, frozen
- 10 ounces of beef broth
- Tomato paste, one whole tablespoon
- Worcestershire sauce, one tablespoon amount
- 1 teaspoon of thyme when dried
- To taste, including salt and pepper
- a total of four cups of mashed potatoes, either homemade or purchased from a supplier
- It is optional to use one cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
Details to follow:
- 1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius). Prepare a baking dish with butter.
- 2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until it reaches the desired consistency. Take off any surplus fat.
- Onion and garlic that have been minced should be added to the skillet at this point. The onion should be cooked until it becomes transparent and tender.
- 4. Add the frozen peas and carrots, beef stock, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, salt, and pepper to the mixture and stir till everything is combined. Simmer for five to seven minutes, or until the mixture reaches the desired consistency.
- 5. Place the meat mixture in the baking dish that has been completely prepared. The mashed potatoes should be distributed equally across the top.
- On top of the mashed potatoes, sprinkle some shredded cheddar cheese if you are willing to use it.
- 7. Place in an oven that has been warmed and bake for twenty to twenty-five minutes, or until the filling is bubbling and the top is golden brown.
- 8. Prior to serving, allow the dish to cool for a few minutes.
