Air Fryer Cheese Toast

Air Fryer Cheese Toast

Components:

  1. Four slices of bread—you can choose between white, whole wheat, and sourdough.
  2. One cup of shredded cheese, such as mozzarella, cheddar, or a combination of your preferred types
  3. Two tablespoons of softened butter or margarine
  4. 1/4 tsp powdered garlic (optional)
  5. 1/4 tsp dried basil or oregano (optional)
  6. To taste, add salt and black pepper.

Guidelines:

Warm up the air fryer.

  • For two to three minutes, preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).

Get the bread ready:

  • On one side of every bread slice, equally spread softened butter or margarine. If you want your toast to taste like garlic, sprinkle some garlic powder over the butter.

Add Cheddar:

  • Turn the bread over so that the butter side is facing down, and then generously sprinkle each piece with shredded cheese. For extra taste, you can also sprinkle some basil or oregano on top.

Toast by Air Fryer:

  • Arrange the slices of bread topped with cheese in a single layer within the air fryer basket. The number of batches you need to cook them in will depend on how big your air fryer is.
  • For five to seven minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the bread is golden brown, air fried at 360°F (180°C).

Serve:

  • When the cheese toast is ready, take it out of the air fryer, add some salt and black pepper, and serve right away.

Advice:

  • By adding toppings like sliced tomatoes, fried bacon, or avocado before air frying, you may increase the amount of decadence in this meal.
  • Before adding the cheese, toast the bread for two to three minutes. Then, air fried it once more while the cheese is on it for an added crunch.
