AIR FRYER ROAST POTATOES

The exterior of these air-fried roasted potatoes is crispy and golden, while the interior is fluffy. They take very little time and effort to prepare, and only require a small amount of oil!

SETTLEMENT TIMES

  • Five minutes for preparation
  • 20 minutes for cooking
  • Twenty-five minutes in total

Components

  1. 1 and a half pounds of potatoes, sliced into 1-inch chunks
  2. Half a tablespoon of olive oil
  3. A smidgeon of smoked paprika
  4. ½ teaspoon grated or powdered garlic
  5. One-fourth teaspoon of salt
  6. ¼ teaspoon freshly ground pepper

Guidelines

  • Add the garlic granules, olive oil, smoked paprika, and salt and pepper to a big bowl and mix the potatoes. Ensure that the potatoes have a good covering.
  • Put in the Air Fryer basket and roast for ten minutes at 380°F (195°C). After ten more minutes of roasting, flip the potatoes.

Observations:

  • The Air Fryer does not require preheating, however crispier potatoes will come from doing so if you have the time.
  • To remove excess starch from starchy potatoes, it is beneficial to soak them in cold water for ten to fifteen minutes before roasting. The potatoes will steam instead of roast if they are not properly dried.
  • Halfway through, turn the potatoes with tongs or a turner; shaking the basket may shatter some and not all of the potatoes will turn out.
  • Serve hot as an appetizer or side dish. Add some freshly cut cilantro or parsley as a garnish, and prepare a delicious homemade dip like guacamole, ranch dressing, or Yum yum sauce!
