Air Fryer Roasted Cabbage
Crunchy Air Fryer In just ten minutes, Roasted Cabbage becomes a delicious side dish for any meal. A simple, delectable, nourishing, and elegant table accent.
I adore that one cup of cabbage provides three grammes of easily digested carbohydrates. Rich in vitamins C and K, it may lower the chance of developing several malignancies
Components
- One medium head of green cabbage, cut into vertical wedges from the head.
- Two tablespoons of avocado or olive oil.
- To taste, add salt and ground pepper.
- 1 TBS vegetable blend seasoning. I use Wellsley Farms Organic Veggie Blend or Mrs. Dash Salt-Free Seasoning Blend.
- One tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley, coarsely chopped (optional for garnish)
Guidelines
- Slit the green cabbage vertically, starting from the cabbage head, into wedges. Between 3/4 and 1 inch thick.
- To taste, add more salt and pepper.
- Coat the pieces of cabbage steaks in oil and then coat them with a mixture of spices.
- To ensure that the cabbage steaks don’t overlap, I like to uniformly coat them with a food silicone brush before arranging them on a frying sheet or air fryer basket.
- For 5 minutes, use the air fry mode at 400F (200C). After that, turn each piece of cabbage over and continue air-frying it for a further five minutes, or until the edges are crispy and golden brown.
- You can air fry more cabbage steaks depending on their thickness and desired level of doneness.
