Creamy Corn Casserole Delight
“Ingredients”
- 3 cups of maize kernels that have been frozen
- Eight ounces of cream cheese, softened
- a quarter cup of melted butter
- 14 ounces of milk
- 25% of a cup of heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 1/2 milligram of salt
- 24 milligrams of black pepper
- For garnish, use a quarter cup of chopped chives.
“Instructions”
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Prepare a baking dish with butter.
- The frozen corn, cream cheese that has been softened, butter that has been melted, milk, heavy cream, sugar, salt and black pepper should all be mixed together in a large bowl.
- Combine all of the ingredients thoroughly until they are completely mixed and the mixture is silky smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the corn mixture to the baking dish that has been prepared, and spread it out across the dish.
- Bake for twenty-five to thirty minutes, or until the food is warm all the way through and has a golden hue on top.
- After removing from the oven, sprinkle the top with fresh chives that have been chopped.
- Serve immediately from the baking dish, while it is still hot and creamy.
To note:
- Instead of using ordinary milk, you should use whole milk for a more decadent flavour.
- A cheesy corn casserole can be made by incorporating shredded cheddar cheese into the mixture.
- Greek yoghurt can be used in place of some of the cream cheese to create a tangy twist on the dish.
- Before placing in the oven, sprinkle the top with breadcrumbs that have been buttered or crackers that have been crushed.
- Allow the baked goods to rest for five minutes before serving to facilitate easier scooping.
- The right combination of cream cheese, butter and cream results in a corn casserole that is extremely creamy and indulgent. It has the most delectable and velvety texture possible to describe. In every sense of the word, a corn symphony!
