AIR FRYER CHEESY EGG BAKE
Ingredients:
- Six big eggs
- half a cup of milk
- One cup of shredded cheese, such as mozzarella or cheddar
- 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions or chives
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
- Additional herbs, such as thyme or parsley, are optional for garnish.
DIRECTIONS:
- Prepare the Mixture: Beat the eggs and milk together thoroughly in a mixing basin.
- Add the chopped chives, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper and stir.
- Set Up the Air Fryer: Give your air fryer around five minutes to preheat to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a cake pan or circular baking dish that will fit into the basket of your air fryer.
- To assemble the dish, pour the egg mixture into a baking dish that has been buttered.
- For an extra-cheesy crust, feel free to sprinkle some additional cheese on top.
- Cook in the Air Fryer: Slide the baking dish into the air fryer basket that has been warmed.
- Cook for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the eggs are set, at 350°F/175°C.
- A toothpick or knife inserted into the centre should come out clean when the food is done.
- Chill and Present: Allow the baked egg to settle for a few minutes prior to slicing.
- If preferred, add more herbs to the garnish and serve warm.
