Air Fryer Egg Toast
Ingredients:
- two bread slices
- two eggs
- Cooking spray or butter (for greasing)
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
- Optional garnishes include sliced avocado, grated cheese, and chopped herbs.
Guidelines:
- Set your air fryer’s temperature for a few minutes at 350°F (180°C).
- As the air fryer heats up, get your bread slices ready. Make a hole in the middle of each piece of bread using a cookie cutter or a little glass. The egg will be held in this hole.
- To keep it from sticking, lightly coat the air fryer tray or basket with frying spray or butter.
- The prepared bread slices can be placed on the tray or in the air fryer basket.
- In each of the bread’s holes, crack one egg. Take care to avoid cracking the yolks. Add a dash of pepper and salt to the eggs.
- Optional: Top the eggs with cheese or other desired toppings if you’d like.
- The air fryer basket or tray should be carefully inserted into the hot air fryer.
- Cook for around 6 to 8 minutes at 350°F (180°C), or until the yolks are cooked to your preferred doneness and the egg whites are set. Watch them closely because cooking times can change according on the size and model of your air fryer.
- Using a spatula or tongs, carefully remove the cooked egg toast from the air fryer.
- If preferred, top with more salt, pepper, or herbs and serve right away.
