Broccoli Cheese Patties
Ingredients:
- 2 cups finely chopped, cooked broccoli florets
- One cup of finely grated cheddar cheese
- half a cup of low-carb breadcrumbs
- two beaten eggs
- Two tsp finely shredded Parmesan cheese
- two minced garlic cloves
- 1/4 tspn powdered onion
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
- For frying, use olive oil
Instructions
- Combine the chopped broccoli, beaten eggs, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl.
- Blend thoroughly until all the components are dispersed equally. In a big skillet set over medium heat,
- gently warm up a tiny amount of olive oil.
- Using your hands, form a tiny handful of the broccoli mixture into a patty.
- Verify that the patty stays together tightly. To form patties, repeat with the remaining mixture.
- Make sure there’s space between the patties when you place them in the griddle.
- Cook until crispy and golden brown, about 3–4 minutes on each side.
- After they are cooked, move the broccoli cheese patties to a plate covered with paper towels so that any extra oil may be absorbed.
- Warm patties can be served as a tasty snack, side dish, or even as a plant-based burger substitute.
