Easy Potato Recipe with Only 2 Ingredients
Components:
- Three yams
- Salt
- three to four teaspoons cornflour
- sunflower seed oil
- Sauce Not Required:
- 50 grammes (1.76 oz) of butter
- Five garlic cloves
- One spoonful of flour
- 25 ml (0.84 fl oz) of water
- 200 ml (6.76 fl oz) of milk
- Salt
- Paprika
- Add some pepperoni
- Two cheese slices
Guidelines:
Cutting and Peeling:
- After peeling, cut the potatoes into wedges, cubes, or slices as desired.
Applying the Potato Coat:
- Using a paper towel, pat the potato pieces dry to absorb any remaining moisture.
- To taste, add a little salt to the potatoes.
- Coat the potato chunks uniformly with cornflour by tossing them in a bowl.
- The potatoes are fried:
- In a skillet or frying pan, warm the sunflower oil over medium heat.
- The coated potato pieces should be carefully added to the pan after the oil is heated.
- Fry the potatoes until their exteriors are crispy and golden brown. After removing them from the oil with a slotted spoon, spread the leftover oil onto a paper towel.
Sauce Not Required:
Get the ingredients ready:
- Crush or mince the cloves of garlic.
- Melt the butter in a pot over a medium heat. When aromatic, add the minced garlic and sauté it.
- whisk flour into butter and garlic mixture; whisk constantly for approximately one minute.
- Pour the milk and water in gradually, stirring to prevent lumps.
- To taste, add more paprika, pepperoni, and salt to the sauce.
Thicken and Simmer:
- Slowly cook the sauce until it reaches the required thickness, stirring from time to time.
Assembly (Selective):
- Over the crispy fried potatoes, drizzle the prepared sauce.
- Place some cheese slices on top and let the heat to slightly melt the cheese.
Present and Savour:
- Serve the hot crispy potatoes on a plate.
- Pour the ready sauce over the cheese-melted potatoes, if desired.
