Non Sourdough Bread

Non Sourdough Bread

Components:

With this easy recipe that requires no starter, you can quickly make fresh bread.

What you require:

  1. All-purpose, bread, or flour, 450 g fluid ounces
  2. Two dozen milliliters of rapid yeast
  3. One and a half cups of hot (110–115 degrees) water
  4. 1/4 cup honey (optional) half a teaspoon of salt

preparation:

  • Mix the water, honey, and yeast together. Stir everything well and cover with a damp towel or cloth before putting it aside for five minutes.
  • Mix the flour and salt into the yeast mixture and mash.
  • Mix well with a wooden spoon and knead for 2 or 3 minutes. (Hint: wet your hands to prevent the mixture from sticking.)
  • Allow the mixture to rest for two hours in a warm place. The device I use is my microwave.
  • After the two hours are up, fold and stretch! Every thirty minutes, I do this workout three times.
  • Place the dough on a lightly floured board to form it. After shaping the dough into a ball, place it in a bread basket or basin to rise. (Hint: I set aside an hour to rise while my oven or Dutch oven heats up.
  • Preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • After the oven is ready, heat your Dutch oven for thirty minutes. Five minutes before your Dutch oven is ready to heat up. Place the bread on a parchment paper sheet and score the edges.
  • When the Dutch oven is hot, put the bread inside. (Hint: use an ice cube to create steam to give the crust extra crunch.) Cover and cook for thirty minutes; cook, uncovered, for fifteen minutes.
  • Once it has cooled, enjoy!
