Air Fryer Crispy Squash

Air Fryer Crispy Squash

In my home, air-fried squash is usually a favorite. Delicious and crispy!

INGRIDIENTS

  1. (1) yellow squash
  2. Half a teaspoon of salt
  3. ¼ cup flour and ½ teaspoon powdered garlic
  4. One-half teaspoon of onion powder
  5. One egg
  6. One-third cup of milk
  7. One-third cup panko breadcrumbs

DIRECTIONS

  • Remove the very top and bottom ends of the yellow squash and discard. Slice the squash into ¼-inch rounds.
Squash slices should be put in a basin with salt added. To mix, toss.
  • Put the flour, onion powder, and garlic powder into a bowl. Mix everything together.
  • Pour the milk and egg into a different bowl. Mix by whisking.
  • Transfer the panko breadcrumbs to a third bowl.
  • Each squash slice should be well coated after dipping it first in the flour mixture, then in the egg mixture, and last in the panko. As you dip into the panko, aim to coat the squash with as much of the panko as possible. Proceed with the remaining squash.
  • Squash should be added to your air fryer in a single layer. Cook at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
  • After removing, serve right away. Proceed with the leftover squash.
NOTES: While you cook the remaining squash in the air fryer, keep any extra squash warm by placing it in the oven on the warm setting.
