Components
Regarding the Pastry:
- one cup of water
- half a cup of butter without salt
- One cup of flour for all purposes
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Four big eggs
Regarding the Cream Filling:
- One cup of heavy cream
- 1/4 cup of sugar, powdered
- One tsp vanilla essence
Regarding the Berry Filling:
- One cup of mixed berries, including raspberries, blueberries, and strawberries
- One tablespoon of sugar (adjust based on sweetness of berries)
- one tsp lemon juice
Guidelines
- Prepare the Pastry
- Oven Prep: Set the oven’s temperature to 400°F, or 200°C. Use parchment paper to line a baking sheet.
Get the dough ready:
- Melt butter, add salt, and water to a pot. Heat to a boil on a medium setting.
- After it boils, turn off the heat and quickly mix in the flour. Stir until a smooth ball is formed.
Include Eggs:
- After letting the mixture cool slightly, slowly add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly and incorporating each one completely.
Pipe the pastry:
- Spoon the dough into a zip-top bag or piping bag, cutting off the corner. Place tiny, one-inch-diameter balls, separated by about two inches, on the baking sheet that has been prepared.
Cook:
- Bake for twenty to twenty-five minutes, until puffed and golden brown. When baking, never open the oven door. Place them on a wire rack to cool.
Get the fillings ready.
Filling for berries:
- Mix the sugar, lemon juice, and mixed berries together in a small bowl. To release their juices, let them macerate for roughly ten minutes.
Cream Filling:
- Beat the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl until soft peaks form.
- Put Together
Stuff the Pastry:
- After the pastry balls cool, carefully cut them open or fill them with the whipped cream and berry mixture using a piping bag. The berries can be layered or combined with the cream as desired.
Serve:
- Place the filled pastry balls onto a dish for serving. Before serving, you may want to dust with powdered sugar.
Have fun!
- These pastry balls stuffed with cream and berries will wow you with their fluffy, light texture and delectable fillings! Ideal for special occasions or dessert.
