Honey Butter Skillet Corn
Components
- Four cups of corn, either fresh or frozen (about four ears)
- Four tsp unsalted butter
- two tsp honey
- Add salt to taste.
- Pepper, to taste
- Optional: finely chopped fresh herb garnish (e.g., cilantro or parsley).
Guidelines
Melt the butter.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat to melt the butter.
Include the corn:
- Add the corn to the skillet with the melted butter. There’s no need to thaw frozen corn if utilizing it.
Prepare the corn:
- The corn should be cooked and starting to caramelize for five to seven minutes, stirring now and again.
Season and add honey.
- Sprinkle salt and pepper on top of the corn and drizzle with honey. Cook, stirring, for a further two to three minutes.
Serve and garnish:
- Take off the heat and garnish with fresh herbs if like. Warm up and serve.
Advice:
- This dish can be served as an accompaniment at any event and goes very well with grilled meats.
- Before serving, you can squeeze in little lime juice for a little more flavor.
Savor the buttery, sweet skillet corn!
