Air Fryer Texas Roadhouse Rolls
One of my best imitation recipes for Air Fryer Texas Roadhouse Rolls is this one! What could be better than a fluffy, soft, and delicious buttery roll served with Texas Roadhouse butter? I baked them directly in the air fryer today.
Components
- The Texas Roadhouse Roll Components: 1 1/4 cup warm milk
- One tsp honey or powdered sugar
- Two tsp of dry active yeast
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of melted, unsalted butter
- One big egg
- One tsp salt
- 3 1/2 cups flour for all purposes
- Melted 1 tablespoon of butter to brush over the rolls.
Glaze: Not required
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar, 1/4 cup honey
- Half a teaspoon of extract from vanilla
- Sugar with Cinnamon Butter: One stick at room temperature, unsalted
- 1/4 cup of sugar, powdered
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and 1/4 cup honey
Guidelines
- The milk should first be added to a big pot and warmed to a temperature of between 100 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit over low to medium heat. After adding the honey and yeast, stir, and then wait ten to fifteen minutes for the yeast to get foamy and activated.
- After transferring the yeast mixture to a big bowl or stand mixer, gently incorporate in the eggs, melted butter, and salt. Mix thoroughly. One cup of flour at a time, gradually add it in, mixing it in after each addition. Mix until a dough forms, around medium speed.
- On a surface dusted with flour, knead the dough for five to seven minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
- The dough should be put in a basin that has been oiled, covered with a moist kitchen towel, and left to Rise in a warm location until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- After lightly dusting the cutting board or kitchen surface with flour, punch down the dough. Separate the dough into two halves. Roll out the dough using a floured rolling pin until it is about 1/2 inch thick.
- Slice the dough into squares or rectangles of the same size using a pizza cutter or a sharp knife.
- Set the air fryer’s temperature to 350°F, or 190°C. After brushing the rolls with melted butter, give them ten to fifteen minutes to rise. Leave room between the rolls when you place them in the air fryer basket. Cook the rolls for 5 to 7 minutes, or until they are cooked through and golden brown.
- As the rolls are cooking, make the glaze by combining Place the vanilla extract, powdered sugar, and honey in a small bowl. Combine the cinnamon and the beaten butter in a separate small bowl. After the rolls are cooked, take them out of the air fryer and glaze them. Warm the rolls and serve them with whipped cinnamon butter on the side.
