Air Fryer Bread
It’s quite simple to make bread in an air fryer. This easy recipe yields a gorgeous loaf of bread with a golden crust and a soft interior.
COMPOSITION
- Two ¼ tsp of instant yeast ¼ cup of warm water and one packet
- Two cups of all-purpose flour
- Two teaspoons of sugar, granulated
- 1/2 tsp salt and ½ cup milk
- Two teaspoons softened unsalted butter
- Egg Dishwashing
- One big egg, whisked
DIRECTIONS
- Pour warm water into a bowl and add the yeast. Give the yeast three to five minutes to swell in the warm water.
Add the flour, sugar, milk, butter, and salt once the yeast has begun to active. Gently stir in the ingredients until fully blended and just beginning to flake.
Place the dough on a board dusted with flour, and knead it until - Once it’s smooth, roll it into a ball.
After inserting the dough ball into the air fryer basket, cover it with a fresh kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Give the dough time to rest for about 30 minutes, or until it has doubled in size. - Apply an egg wash to the loaf’s top. and air fried the bread for 8 to 10 minutes at 320 degrees Fahrenheit, or until the top is golden brown.
NOTES:
- Cooking times for air fryers can change. If needed, cook the bread for an additional one to two minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Since instant yeast doesn’t need to be proved and will help the dough to rise slightly faster, I use it instead of active yeast. Remember that when using active yeast, - You can use either, but it will take the dough another 15 to 30 minutes to rise.
To keep the bread from becoming soggy, let it cool fully before storing. This may result in dampness or mold. - Easy removal is achieved by lining the springform pan with a circle of parchment paper. Make sure to line your basket with parchment paper for the air fryer if you’re not using a pan. Without parchment paper, the bread dough will seep through the openings in the basket.
