Crescents with Cream Cheese Sausage
An concept for breakfast is presented here for those times in life when you are really busy or when you have a house full of guests staying the night. These were truly served to me at the residence of a friend on the morning of the day that she got married. The fact that these breakfast sandwiches only contained a few ingredients was so shocking to me that I could not believe it. Over the years, I have made these numerous times, and each time, my family and I take pleasure in eating them.
Components
- sausage turkey, ground to a weight of one pound
- Eight fluid ounces of cream cheese
- To taste, season with salt and pepper
- crescent dough, two rolls in total
Details to follow
- To begin, preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a large skillet, break the sausage and brown it until the meat is completely cooked through before serving. Use pepper and salt to season the food.
- After the fat has been drained off of the sausage, the second step is to add the cream cheese to the sausage.
- Stir the mixture until it melts, then take it off the fire.
- A 9×13 baking pan should be lightly sprayed in the third step.
- One can of crescent dough should be unrolled and placed at the bottom of the pan. If necessary, the dough should be stretched.
- When you reach the fourth step, dollop the meat mixture on top of the crescent dough layer.
- The other roll of crescent roll dough should be placed on top of the meat mixture then.
- The fifth step is to bake the crescent roll dough for twenty minutes, or until it has a delicate golden brown colour.
- Squares should be cut off.
- Have fun!
