SPANICH STUFFED PASTRY

Components:
- Two thawed sheets of puff pastry
- two cups finely chopped fresh spinach
- Half a cup of ricotta
- Grated Parmesan cheese, half a cup
- One beaten egg (for the egg wash)
- One teaspoon of garlic powder
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
- One tablespoon of olive oil
SETTLEMENT:
- Preheat Oven: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Get the Filling Ready:
Heat the olive oil in a big skillet over medium heat. - Cook the chopped spinach for two to three minutes, or until it wilts.
- Take it off the fire and let it to cool a little.
- The cooked spinach, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper should all be combined in a medium-sized bowl. Blend thoroughly.
Put the Pastries Together: - Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a board dusted with a little flour.
- Each sheet should yield four squares, for a total of eight squares.
- Put a dollop of the cheese and spinach mixture in the middle of every square.
- Using a fork, seal the edges of the triangle or rectangle formed by folding the pastry over.
- Place the pastries on the baking sheet that has been prepared.
- Put on Egg Wash:
For a golden finish, brush the tops of the pastries with the beaten egg. - Cook:
- Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the pastries are puffy and have a golden brown colour.
