To make crispy onions at home using an air fryer, just follow this recipe, which is really simple. For the purpose of achieving the flavour and texture of caramelized onions, it is not necessary to deep fry them in a large amount of oil. An alternative to onions that have been deep-fried that is more nutritious and can be used in a variety of cuisines, such as Indian biryanis, curries, soups, or salads.

  • The onion should be peeled and then cut into thin, circular slices.
  • Oil should be drizzled over the slices, and then the rings should be separated carefully.
  • The basket of the air fryer should be filled with the onion rings. First, fry them for ten minutes at a temperature of 300 degrees Fahrenheit. At intervals of five minutes, gently combine the rings.
  • Proceed to continue heating the rings while bringing the temperature down to 240 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix the rings in a gentle manner after every five minutes. The desired color and texture will be achieved after 15–18 minutes at 240 degrees Fahrenheit.
