Components
- One sheet of thawed puff pastry
- One tablespoon of olive oil
- 18 spears of asparagus, three in a bundle
- 1 cup of mozzarella cheese and 2 to 3 tsp of butter
- One big egg
- Two tablespoons of Romano Parmesan per bundle, or 1/4 cup
- One tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Guidelines
- Puff pastry sheet should be rolled out to a rectangle about twice its original size. Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, cut the puff pastry into six equal pieces. Sprinkle the asparagus with salt and pepper to taste and drizzle with a little olive oil.
- Arrange the asparagus spears in a diagonal pattern in the middle of each cut pastry piece, and then sprinkle two or three tablespoons of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of each.
- Create a bundle by folding the free edges over the filling. To produce an egg wash, thoroughly beat the egg in a small basin. Sprinkle the Romano on top of each bundle after brushing the tops with egg wash.
- Cheese Parmesan.
- After placing the bundles in the air fryer basket, cook them for 6–7 minutes at 370 degrees Fahrenheit on the air fryer setting, or until the pastry is golden brown.
- Arrange, present, and savour!
