Air Fryer Bread Onion Fritters
Components:
- Four bread slices
- One large onion, diced finely
- half a cup besan gram flour
- one-fourth cup rice flour
- Two finely chopped green chiles (optional)
- one-half teaspoon of cumin seeds
- Half a teaspoon of powdered turmeric
- Half a teaspoon of powdered red chili
- Half a teaspoon of garam masala
- Asafetida (hinge) 1/4 tsp
- Add salt to taste.
- Water, as required
- Brushing with a tiny bit of oil or cooking spray
Guidelines:
Get the Combination Ready:
- Chopped onion, gram flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, asafoetida, and salt should all be combined in a mixing bowl. Blend thoroughly.
- For those who enjoy a little heat, add the green chilies.
- Stirring constantly, gradually add water to the mixture until a thick batter consistency is achieved.
Get the bread ready:
- Slice the bread into little squares or any other shape you like.
- Make sure the bread pieces are thoroughly coated with the batter before adding them to the mixture.
Warm up the air fryer.
- For around five minutes, preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).
Fry the Fritters by Air:
- Grease the air fryer basket sparingly with a brush or spray.
- Sort the bread pieces into a single layer and place them in the basket. Avoid packing too many people in one area.
- Lightly mist or brush the fritters’ tops with oil.
- They should air fried for 10 to 12 minutes at 360°F (180°C), turning them halfway through, or until they are crispy and golden brown.
Serve:
- After taking the fritters out of the air fryer, allow them to cool a little.
- Warm up and pair with your preferred chutney or sauce.
