Guidelines:

Get the Combination Ready:

  • Chopped onion, gram flour, rice flour, cumin seeds, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, asafoetida, and salt should all be combined in a mixing bowl. Blend thoroughly.
  • For those who enjoy a little heat, add the green chilies.
  • Stirring constantly, gradually add water to the mixture until a thick batter consistency is achieved.

Get the bread ready:

  • Slice the bread into little squares or any other shape you like.
  • Make sure the bread pieces are thoroughly coated with the batter before adding them to the mixture.

Warm up the air fryer.

  • For around five minutes, preheat your air fryer to 360°F (180°C).

Fry the Fritters by Air:

  • Grease the air fryer basket sparingly with a brush or spray.
  • Sort the bread pieces into a single layer and place them in the basket. Avoid packing too many people in one area.
  • Lightly mist or brush the fritters’ tops with oil.
  • They should air fried for 10 to 12 minutes at 360°F (180°C), turning them halfway through, or until they are crispy and golden brown.

Serve:

  • After taking the fritters out of the air fryer, allow them to cool a little.
  • Warm up and pair with your preferred chutney or sauce.
  • Savor your tasty and crispy bread and onion fritters made with an air fryer!
