Air Fryer Cajun Potatoes
Components
- Half a teaspoon of paprika
- One-half teaspoon of garlic powder
- One-half teaspoon of chili powder
- One-half teaspoon of dried oregano
- 1.25 milligrams of ground thyme
- One-half teaspoon of onion powder
- One-fourth of a teaspoon of salt
- Half a teaspoon of black pepper
- Cayenne pepper, ground, one-eighth of a teaspoon
- 1 and a half pounds of baby potatoes, uncooked and sliced in half (I preferred to use baby gold potatoes for this recipe, but baby red potatoes are also excellent).
- 2 milliliters of an olive oil
- Flakes of dried parsley or fresh parsley that have been chopped are optional.
Details to follow
- A Cajun spice mix can be made by combining the following ingredients in a small dish: paprika, garlic powder, chilli powder, oregano, thyme, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne. Stir the mixture until it is completely combined.
- To prepare the potatoes, cut them in half and place them in a mixing basin. Drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes. In order to coat the potatoes, stir them with the oil. Stir the Cajun spice mixture that was added in the first step until it is uniformly distributed.
- After the potatoes have been seasoned, place them in the basket of your air fryer and cook them for ten minutes at a temperature of 400 degrees. After giving the basket a shake or stirring the potatoes, place the basket back into the air fryer and continue cooking for another ten minutes there. The dish should be removed from the air fryer and, if desired, sprinkled with parsley before being served.
