Air Fryer Canned Potatoes
Canned potatoes cooked in the air fryer provide a tasty side dish for any meal. Although you can cook or fry them in a skillet or oven, your air fryer is the ideal tool for this delicious side dish! This leaves your potatoes crispy and flavorful but is a healthier option than frying!
Components
- 30 ounces of any kind of canned potatoes
- Two tsp olive oil
- One teaspoon of sage
- One tsp of parsley
- One tsp of basil
- One teaspoon of thyme
- One tsp of rosemary
- one tsp powdered garlic
- One tsp of paprika
- One tsp black pepper
Guidelines
- To start, you should drain the whole potatoes and give them a quick rinse under cold water to get rid of extra starch and canning liquid.
- Using paper towels, thoroughly pat the potatoes dry. They will air fry well if the moisture is removed as much as possible.
- The dried potatoes should be put in a bowl. Apply a little layer of olive oil or cook spray on them. In addition to encouraging browning and crisping, the oil keeps the seasoning clinging to the potatoes.
- Add salt, black pepper, and any other ingredients you choose to the potatoes. Until they are covered uniformly, toss them.
- If your air fryer needs to be preheated, set the temperature to 400°F (200°C).
- In order to allow for air circulation, place the seasoned entire potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer with some space between them.
- Cook the potatoes for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the outsides are crispy and golden brown. To make sure the potatoes cook evenly, shake the basket or flip the potatoes halfway during the cooking period.
- When the potatoes are as crispy as you like, take them out of the air fryer with caution.
- Serve hot air-fried canned potatoes as a side dish with a variety of main dishes, such as vegetarian or grilled meats.
