Air Fryer Cupcakes
These fluffy, tasty, and very simple to make vanilla cupcakes made in an air fryer! Enjoy with your preferred frosting and sprinkles added.
Cake Ingredients
- Two cups (250 g) of self-rising flour;
- 250 g (one and a half cups) of caster sugar (superfine sugar);
- 115 g (one and a half cups) of margarine, or softened unsalted butter;
- two big eggs;
- 120 ml (one and a half cups) of milk;
- two tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste;
Easy Vanilla Frosting
- 260 g (2 cups) of powdered sugar for frosting;
- 115 g (½ cup) of melted unsalted butter
- 80 ml (½ cup) of double- or heavy-cream
- 1 tsp extract or paste from vanilla beans

- Put the cupcakes in the air fryer basket and bake for 23–25 minutes for big cupcakes and 18–20 minutes for smaller cupcakes at 160°C (325°F). For this recipe, there’s no need to preheat the air fryer.
