AIR FRYER FRENCH FRIES

AIR FRYER FRENCH FRIES

Obtain a few potatoes and follow this straightforward procedure if you have not yet attempted to make French fries using an air fryer. These potatoes, which have been freshly sliced, are cooked to a beautiful crisp, resulting in a snack that everyone will like.

  1. 4 Russet potatoes, medium in size
  2. Olive oil, one tablespoon equal
  3. Salt, one teaspoon, and pepper, half a teaspoon

THE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Wash and peel each individual potato. Cut them into thin strips, with a thickness of about 1/8 inch.
Soak the potatoes that have been sliced in cold water for at least half an hour to an hour in a basin of medium size.
  2. You should remove the water from the dish after they have had a chance to soak. A little coating of olive oil should be applied to the fries, and then they should be tossed until the oil is well distributed.
  3. Place half of the fries in the basket of the air fryer, making sure that they do not touch or overlap with one another.
  4. Approximately 14 minutes of air frying at 380 degrees Fahrenheit, with a stir halfway through the cooking process. To get the desired level of crispiness, you may choose to add an extra minute or two to the cooking time.
  5. To eliminate the starch from the potatoes, soak them in cool water for a few minutes. The water will become white as a result. Do not omit this step since it is what results in them having a crunchy texture.
  6. It would be helpful if the fries were of a same size and thickness. This is of the utmost importance since having thick fries frying alongside thin fries will cause the skinny fries to cook more quickly, which might result in their being burned.
