The mix of crunchy Doritos, creamy cheese sauce, and seasoned meat makes this Nacho Cheese meat Wrap very tempting. These air fryer-perfect wraps have a crispy finish and are ideal for a fast supper. Accompany with your preferred toppings and some shredded lettuce!
Ingredients;
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 can Rotel (green chilis with diced tomatoes)
- ½ cup chopped green peppers
- ½ cup diced onions
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- Nacho cheese flavored Doritos, crushed
- 4 flour tortilla wraps
- Shredded lettuce
Method;
- Cook Beef and Veggies: In a pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain any excess oil. When the onions and peppers are tender, add them and sauté for 4 minutes. Add the taco seasoning mix and stir until well mixed.
- Get the cheese mixture ready. Combine the Rotel and nacho cheese sauce in a another bowl.
- Put the flour tortillas on a level surface and assemble the wraps. Put some of the nacho cheese mixture in the middle of each tortilla using a spoon. Add the meat mixture, crumbled Doritos, onions, peppers, and sour cream over top.
- Wraps: Tightly wrap the tortillas like a burrito by folding in the sides.
- Wraps cooked in the air: Start the air fryer at 375°F, or 190°C. To help the wraps crisp up, lightly brush or spritz them with a little oil on the exterior. Seam side down, put the wraps in the air fryer basket and cook for five to seven minutes. Cook for a further five minutes after flipping, or until crispy and golden brown.
To serve, take the wraps out of the air fryer and give them a minute to cool. Serve with desired extra toppings and shredded lettuce.
