Guidelines

  • Apply nonstick spray to a donut pan. Put it away. In a large mixing bowl, add the flour, crushed cereal, baking powder, cocoa, and salt; whisk to blend.
  • Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in the buttermilk, egg, melted butter, sugar, and vanilla essence.
  • Mixing all the ingredients together gradually begins with mixing the wet components together. There will be some lumps in the thick mixture. Reese’s puff cereal should be folded in using a rubber spatula.
  • Pipe the batter evenly into each of the six donut cavities using a pastry bag.
  • Place the doughnut pan inside the air fryer and adjust the temperature to 320 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the doughnuts for 9 to 10 minutes, or until they spring back when lightly touched. To cool, turn them out onto a wire rack. Proceed with any leftover batter.
  • Place in a saucepan over medium-low heat and add all ingredients. Stir the glaze continuously with a rubber spatula until it is smooth and consistent.
  • Once cool enough to handle, coat the donuts with glaze, return them to the wire rack, and decorate with additional cereal, chocolate drizzle, and Reese’s cups, if preferred.
  • Arrange, present, and savor!
