Airfryer asparagus with a crispy Parmesan crust
In just 20 minutes, air-fried asparagus becomes juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Delicious green or white asparagus straight from the hot air fryer
Ingredients
- For a 22-cm Aifryer pot, use 6–8 asparagus spears, depending on their thickness.
- 40 g Mehl
- 2 Eier – verquirlt
- Salz, 1/2 TL
- 30 grammes of Paniermehl
- Thirty grammes of aged Parmesan
- Spray oil or use another type of oil, like rapeseed oil.
Directions
- Get ready for a (almost) traditional breading procedure: Spoon the asparagus spears into three long, shallow bowls. Using flour in the first, an egg beat with salt in the second, and breadcrumbs combined with grated Parmesan in the third
- One by one, coat each asparagus spear in a mixture of flour, egg, and breadcrumbs, ensuring that they are thoroughly coated.
- After setting the air fryer to 180°C for three minutes, place the crisp plate inside.
- Apply a light coating of oil on your asparagus and bake it at 180°C for 11 minutes, or slightly longer if the spears are particularly thick. Turning the asparagus is not necessary.
