Big Mac French Toast
Components
Regarding the French Toast:
- Four thickly sliced pieces of bread (Texas toast or brioche work great)
- Four big eggs
- half a cup of milk
- One tsp vanilla essence
- one tsp finely ground cinnamon
- Add salt to taste.
- Butter for cooking
For the toppings on the Big Mac:
- Half a cup of cooked ground beef with salt and pepper added
- Half a cup of finely chopped lettuce
- half a cup of tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup of sliced pickles
- 1/4 cup of American or cheddar cheese, shredded
- Special sauce (combine ketchup, relish, mayonnaise, and a small amount of garlic powder)
Guidelines
Get the egg mixture ready.
- Mix the eggs, milk, cinnamon, vanilla essence, and a small amount of salt in a shallow basin.
Prepare the French toast:
- Melt a small amount of butter in a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Make sure that every piece of bread is well coated on both sides by dipping it into the egg mixture. Simmer for two to three minutes on each side, or until both sides are golden brown. Continue doing this with every slice.
Put the Big Mac together:
- Put one slice of French toast on a platter. Add a layer of cheese, pickles, chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and ground meat on top.
- Drizzle some special sauce over the top.
- To make a sandwich, place another slice of French toast on top.
Serve:
- If preferred, slice the sandwich in half and serve it warm with an additional special sauce on the side for dipping.
Advice:
- To give even more taste, feel free to add bacon or other toppings.
- For a full dinner, serve with fries or a side salad.
