These puff pastry squares with cheese and bacon are a tasty and easy dessert. The blend of crunchy bacon, melted cheese, and flaky pastry makes this dish ideal for breakfast or as a snack, pleasing to all.
Components
-
One puff pastry sheet that is premade
Two eggs, two to three bacon slices per square
grated cheese (we suggest mild cheddar)
Guidelines
Get the ingredients ready:
- Set your air fryer’s temperature to 180°C (350°F).
- After grating the cheese, reserve it.
- The puff pastry sheet should be cut into four squares, or more, depending on how big it is.
2. Put the Pastry Squares Together:
- To create a bed for the bacon, place a substantial amount of grated cheese in the center of each puff pastry square.
- Place one or two bacon slices over the cheese in each square.
- To wrap the filling, fold the puff pastry pieces’ corners over the bacon and cheese.
3. Clean Egg:
- In a small bowl, beat the eggs.
- To give each assembled pastry square a gorgeous golden color when baked, brush the tops with the beaten egg.
4. Air Fryer:
- Making sure the assembled puff pastry pieces are not in contact with one another, place them in the air fryer basket that has been preheated.
- Simmer for 12 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
- To crisp the bottom, flip the croissants over and cook for a further minute.
5. Present:
- Before serving, take the pastries out of the air fryer and allow them to cool somewhat.
- Savor your hot and crispy cheesy bacon puff pastry squares!
