easy mojo potatoes recipe
Mojo potatoes are savoury potato wedges thrown with a tasty seasoning mixture after being cooked until crispy. This is a basic mojo potato recipe:
Ingredients:
- 4 medium-sized potatoes, chopped into wedges after washing
- Two tsp olive oil
- Add salt to taste.
- To taste, add black pepper. Regarding the spice blend:
- One tsp of paprika
- one tsp powdered garlic
- One tsp powdered onion
- One-half tsp dried oregano
- One-half tsp dried thyme
- Half a teaspoon of chilli powder, or to taste
- Add salt to taste.
Guidelines:
- Set oven temperature to 400°F, or 200°C. Combine all of the spice mix’s ingredients in a small bowl. Put aside.
- The potato wedges should be put in a big bowl. Over the wedges, drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat evenly. To taste, add a little salt and black pepper to the potatoes.
- Potato wedges should be coated uniformly with seasoning after being sprinkled with the seasoning mix and tossed.
- On a baking sheet covered with aluminium foil or parchment paper, arrange the seasoned potato wedges in a single layer.
- Bake the potatoes for 25 to 30 minutes in a preheated oven, or until the outsides are crispy and golden brown.
- Turn the potatoes halfway through to ensure equal cooking. When the mojo potatoes are done, take them out of the oven and serve them hot with your preferred dipping sauce.
