- 1 Potato, peeled and diced into small cubes
- 1 Large Onion, chopped
- 1 Large Carrot, peeled and diced
- 1 cup Water/beef broth
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 1 tsp Thyme
- 2 tbs flour
- 2 tbs Oil
- 1 egg for brushing

- Prepare the pastry by combining the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder in a large basin.
- Add the cubed butter and mix in the flour until a crumbly consistency is achieved.
- Combine the two beaten eggs with the cold water into the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms. For thirty minutes, cover.
- To make the filling, heat the oil in a big pan. Add onion and cook for five to six minutes.
- Cook the diced potatoes and carrots for three to four minutes.
- For four to five minutes, add the meat and break it up. Season with flour, thyme, salt, and pepper.
