Time of Rise: One Hour 20 minutes
for cooking One hour, thirty-five minutes total Level of Difficulty: Medium Produced 1 loaf.
Components:
- 240g (2 cups) all-purpose flour
- One teaspoon (5 grammes) of salt
- One tablespoon (15 grammes) sweets
- One tablespoon (10g) dry yeast that is active 180ml,
- or 3/4 cup heated water (45°C/110°F)
- Two tablespoons (30 millilitres) butter that has melted
- or olive oil
Guidelines:
Get the Yeast Going:
- Combine the sugar and warm water in a small bowl. After dispersing the yeast over the water, leave it for five to ten minutes, or until it foams.
- Prepare the Dough: Flour and salt should be combined in a large mixing dish. Stir the melted butter or olive oil into the flour along with the activated yeast mixture. Stir to form a dough. You can use your hands or a wooden spoon.
- Knead the dough: Place the dough on a surface that has been lightly floured, and knead it for five to seven minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
- First Rise: After the dough has doubled in size, about an hour, place it in a warm location and cover the bowl with a moist towel.
- Form the Dough: Punch down the dough to eliminate any remaining air once it has risen. Roll it into a loaf that fits through the basket of your air fryer.
- Warm up the air fryer. For three to five minutes, preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake the Bread: Fill the air fryer basket with the shaped dough. Brushing a little extra olive oil or melted butter on top is optional.
- For 20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and hollow to the touch, air fried it at 350°F/175°C.
- Before slicing and serving, take the bread out of the air fryer and allow it to cool on a wire rack.
