Components

  1. One pound of ground beef and one cup of plain or seasoned breadcrumbs
  2. 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
  3. half a cup of milk
  4. Two big eggs
  5. Two teaspoons of ketchup plus more for drizzling
  6. One spoonful of sauce from Worcestershire
  7. one tsp powdered garlic
  8. One tsp salt
  9. half a teaspoon of pepper, black
  10. One teaspoon of optional dried thyme
  11. One teaspoon of optional dried parsley

Guidelines

Warm up the oven:

  • Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).

Get the Combination Ready:

  • Ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, eggs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, pepper, thyme, and parsley should all be combined in a big bowl. Make sure to blend only until incorporated; do not overmix.

Form the Meatloaf:

  • Pour the batter into a loaf pan or form the mixture into a loaf on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.

Place ketchup on top:

  • To add extra flavor and moisture, lightly coat the meatloaf with ketchup.

Cook:

  • Bake for approximately one hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C), in the preheated oven.

Take a Break and Serve:

  • Before slicing, give the meatloaf ten minutes to rest. Serve with your preferred side dishes, such as a simple salad, green beans, or mashed potatoes.

Advice:

  • For added taste and nutrition, you can add grated carrots or diced bell peppers.
  • The next day, leftover meatloaf makes fantastic sandwiches!
