I made this dish for a party, and it disappeared quickly
Ingredients:
- Two cups all-purpose flour
- A single spoonful of powdered sugar
- One little spoonful of salt
- One-half tsp of baking soda
- Half a cup of unsalted butter, sliced, and refrigerated.
- One cup of buttermilk
- A dozen little slivers of mozzarella cheese
- One-quarter cup of melted butter
- One teaspoon of garlic powder
- One tablespoon of freshly chopped parsley
SETTLEMENT:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl and whisk to combine.
- . Stir in the cooled, finely chopped butter. Using your fingers or a pastry cutter, mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the buttermilk and stir to incorporate the dough.
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and gently push it several times. Roll out the dough and press it into a 1/2-inch thick rectangle. Split it into twelve equal pieces. Each dough square should have a piece of mozzarella cheese in the centre. The dough should then be wrapped around the cheese,
- pushing the edges together to seal. The biscuit bombs should be placed on the prepared baking sheet seam side down.
- Melt the butter and then dust the top with garlic powder.
- Bake for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and oozy and the meal is golden brown.
- Once baked, sprinkle the remaining melted butter over the dish and garnish with the fresh parsley.
- Warm it up and enjoy!
Various Forms and Guidance
- You can sample various cheeses, such as pepper jack and cheddar, both of which have excellent flavours.
- For a sweet and savoury taste, you can also add some bacon or a tiny spoonful of your favourite jam.
- Mix in additional red pepper flakes and garlic powder for some extra flavour.
- You may easily make a substitute for buttermilk if you don’t have any by combining milk and lemon juice. Have fun!
