Components

Regarding the Slaw:

  1. Four cups of finely shredded green cabbage
  2. One cup of shredded carrots
  3. 1/4 cup finely shredded purple cabbage (optional)
  4. 1/4 cup finely chopped green onions (optional)

Regarding the Dressing:

  • one-half cup mayonnaise
  • one-fourth cup buttermilk
  • One spoonful of vinegar made from apple cider
  • One tablespoon of lemon juice
  • One spoonful of sugar, granulated
  • Half a teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Guidelines

Get the veggies ready:

  • Combine the carrots, purple cabbage (if using), and green cabbage in a big bowl. Mix by tossing.

Prepare the Dressing:

  • Mix the mayonnaise, buttermilk, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper in a another bowl until everything is thoroughly blended and smooth.

Mix:

  • Once all of the vegetables are completely coated, pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss again.
