Mini Meatloaf Muffins

Mini Meatloaf Muffins

Ingredients:

  1. 1 pound of ground beef (or, for a leaner option, ground turkey) for the meatloaf
  2. half a cup of breadcrumbs
  3. one-fourth cup milk
  4. One big egg
  5. One little onion, diced finely
  6. two minced garlic cloves
  7. One spoonful of sauce from Worcestershire
  8. One-fourth cup ketchup
  9. One tablespoon of mustard
  10. Half a teaspoon of salt
  11. half a teaspoon of pepper, black
  12. Half a teaspoon of optional dried oregano

Regarding the Glaze:

  • One-fourth cup ketchup
  • Two tsp of brown sugar
  • One tablespoon of mustard

Guidelines:

1. Turn on the oven:

  • Set the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).
  • Use cooking spray to grease or line a normal 12-cup muffin tray with paper liners.

2. Get the Meatloaf Combination Ready:

  • Mix the milk and breadcrumbs in a big bowl. Give the breadcrumbs two to three minutes to absorb the milk by sitting them down.
  • Add the egg, ground beef, mustard, ketchup, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and oregano (if using). Using a spoon or your hands, gently stir everything until it’s just blended. Avoid overmixing, since this may cause the meatloaf to become tough.

3. Create the Little Meat Loaves:

  • Gently put the meat mixture into each of the 12 muffin cups, dividing it equally among them.

4. Get the glaze ready:

  • Combine mustard, brown sugar, and ketchup in a small bowl.
  • Evenly spread the glaze over the tops of the tiny meatloaves using a spoon or brush.

5. Cook:

  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the meatloaf muffins’ internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C) for beef or 165°F (74°C) for turkey in a preheated oven.

6. Present:

  • Before taking them out of the pan, let the meatloaf muffins cool for five minutes.
  • Serve with your preferred sides, mashed potatoes, or veggies.
