Mini Pizza Burgers Recipe
Components
Regarding the Burgers:
- One pound of ground turkey or beef
- 1 tsp of Italian spice
- One-half teaspoon of garlic powder
- One-half teaspoon of onion powder
- To taste, add salt and pepper.
- ½ cup sauce marinara
- ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Twelve slider buns
Add-ons:
- Extra marinara sauce to pour over food
- Sliced pepperoni, olives, bell peppers, or any other preferred pizza toppings
- Garnish with fresh parsley or basil, if desired.
Guidelines
1. Turn on the oven:
- Turn the oven on to 375°F, or 190°C.
2. Prepare the patties, burgers:
- Ground beef, Italian seasoning, onion and garlic powders, salt, and pepper should all be combined in a big basin. Blend until thoroughly blended.
- Shape the ingredients into twelve little patties.
3. Prepare the patties:
- In a skillet, preheat to medium. Cook the patties until they are cooked through, 3 to 4 minutes per side. Spoon a little marinara sauce over each patty and garnish with mozzarella cheese during the final minute of cooking. To aid in the cheese’s melting, cover the skillet.
4. Put the Little Burgers Together:
- Slider buns should be topped with the cooked patties. Add any extra pizza toppings you desire on top (peppertoni, bell peppers, etc.).
- Using the upper portion of the buns, close the sliders.
5. Cook:
- Place the little patties onto a baking sheet. The buns should be baked for five to seven minutes in a preheated oven, or until they are gently browned.
6. Present:
- If preferred, top with freshly chopped herbs and serve with additional marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
