Ultimate Potato and Cabbage Bake Recipe
Components:
- (3 potatoes, or 700g or 24.7 oz)
- 24.7 oz (700g) of cabbage
- 200g (7 oz) of cheese
- One onion
- One carrot
- Several spring onions
- Bacon (100g/3.5 oz),
- optional Salt
- Pepper, black
- sunflower seed oil
Guidelines:
- Turn the oven on to 180°C, or 350°F.
- Thinly chop 700g of cabbage and 3 potatoes.
- 200g of grated cheese should be placed aside.
- Add the chopped onion, carrot, and spring onions to a skillet and cook in sunflower oil until they become soft.
- Slice the bacon, if using, and add it to the pan in small pieces. Cook until the food gets crispy.
- Arrange half of the sliced potatoes in a baking dish and sprinkle with black pepper and salt.
- Distribute half of the cheese and half of the cabbage on top.
- With the remaining ingredients, repeat the layering process.
- Bake it covered with foil. for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
