Ingredients:
- 1 bunch of asparagus, tough ends trimmed
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons bread crumbs (optional)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Set your air fryer’s temperature for three to five minutes at 400°F (200°C).
- Grated Parmesan cheese, bread crumbs (if using), olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder should all be combined in a shallow plate. Blend thoroughly to achieve a paste-like texture.
- Make sure every asparagus spear has an even coating of Parmesan cheese on all sides by dipping it into the mixture.
- Make sure the coated asparagus spears are not packed too tightly in the air fryer basket by placing them in a single layer.
- For 8 to 10 minutes, or until the asparagus are soft and the Parmesan crust is golden brown and crispy, air fry them at 400°F (200°C).
- When the asparagus is finished, carefully take it out of the air fryer basket and serve right away.
- Before serving, you can want to add some more grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh herbs as garnish.
- Savour your crunchy asparagus with a Parmesan coating right out of the air fryer.
