Air Fryer Turkey Croquettes
The Turkey Croquettes from Air Fryer are very fantastic! They pair perfectly with leftover Thanksgiving turkey and are crispy, fluffy, soft, and light. You will definitely want to prepare extra turkey for this recipe!
Pro Tip:
- You can make this dish in any model of oven or air fryer basket. I’ve prepared this dish multiple times using my Mealthy Lid, Instant Pot Crisp Lid, Ninja Foodi, and Instant Pot Vortex. The recipe remains unchanged. There will be variations in the time.
- To ensure that the turkey croquettes cook at roughly the same time, attempt to make them roughly the same size.
- This dish can be made with any stuffing recipe, handmade or from a box.
Components
Croquettes with turkey:
- Two cups of leftover stuffing and leftover turkey
- Leftover ½ cup of mashed potatoes
- ½ cup finely grated Parmesan cheese;
- 4 chopped garlic cloves
- one finely chopped shallot
- 1 tablespoon freshly minced sage
- One teaspoon freshly chopped rosemary
- two eggs
- two cups of bread crumbs, panko
- Frozen onion straws, one cup
- ½ cup of cranberry sauce for cranberry dip
- One cup of sour cream
- One teaspoon each of horseradish and black pepper
- One jalapeño, chopped and seeded
Guidelines
- Set the air fryer to 360 degrees Fahrenheit and preheat it for five minutes.
- To finely chop leftover turkey, add it to a food processor and pulse for 10 seconds. Next, take the turkey out of the food processor and give it a thorough rinse. Pulse for 15 seconds after adding the fried onion straws. Put aside.
- Combine the turkey, stuffing, potatoes, parmesan, minced shallot, minced garlic, sage, and rosemary in a large mixing basin. Form the mixture into patties.
- Get a dredging station ready. Whisk the eggs with ½ cup water in a single bowl. Panko and ground-fried onion straws should be combined in a different bowl.
- Place patties in the bread crumbs and then the eggs. To help the crumbs stick, press them into the patty.
- Arrange the croquettes in a single layer within the air fryer basket. Use a small amount of cooking spray. After six minutes of baking, turn and gently once more spray. Bake for a further half hour.
- Make the cranberry dip while the croquettes are baking. Cranberry sauce, sour cream, horseradish, pepper, and jalapeño should all be combined in a food processor or blender and pureed for 15 seconds.
- Accompany croquettes with a cranberry sauce.
- Arrange, present, and savor!
