AIR FRYER ZUCCHINI CHIPS
Discover how to prepare air-fried zucchini chips in under ten minutes! These crunchy, salty, and healthful air fryer zucchini chips are a great snack.
INGREDIENTS
- One medium zucchini
- One tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/8 teaspoon ground pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Slice the zucchini into 1/8-inch (0.3 cm) thick pieces using a mandoline.
- Using a paper towel, dab any extra liquid from the zucchini slices.
- Heat the air fryer to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (162 degrees Celsius).
- Combine the zucchini slices, olive oil, sea salt, and pepper in a medium-sized bowl. Until every slice is coated, toss.
- Arrange the zucchini slices in the air fryer in a single layer. Simmer for eight to twelve minutes. After eight minutes, check and take out any slices that are beginning to brown or crisp. Check the slices every few minutes until they are all done. Continue doing this with every zucchini slice. As the zucchini cools, it will get more crispier.
AVAILABLE SUGGESTIONS
- While air-fried zucchini chips are a delicious snack on their own, you can add some extra flavor by trying a dipping sauce! They are delicious served with tahini sauce, ranch dressing, or even chicken liver pate. They also work well as dippers for a variety of salsas, such as guacamole, salsa verde, and fresh tomato salsa
STORAGE GUIDELINES
- Keep unused air fryer zucchini slices in your pantry for two to three weeks by storing them in an airtight container. You can use the air fryer for a few minutes to crisp them up again if they become too mushy.
Variations in the season:
- You are welcome to vary it up by adding other seasonings to the zucchini: Garlic powder and Italian spice should be added. Spicy: If you enjoy a little heat, jerk or Cajun seasoning would be ideal! Ranch: Add the ranch spice. Lemon Pepper: Add some lemon zest and more black pepper, or use a lemon pepper spice.
