Easy Homemade Butter Recipe in Three Minutes
I’m thrilled to demonstrate for you today how to create delectable homemade butter in only three minutes. You heard correctly—three minutes! It tastes so much better than store-bought butter and is quite simple to make.
To begin, you will require:
- 600 millilitres of heavy cream with around 40% fat
- A hand beater or mixer
The process is as follows:
- Transfer the thickened cream into a mixing basin.
- Start beating the cream at a low pace and continue until it begins to thicken, about 20 seconds.
- Once the mixture begins to separate into butter and buttermilk, turn the speed up to high and beat for an additional two to three minutes.
That’s it, too! You just produced butter. All that’s left to do is:
- To separate the butter from the buttermilk, strain the mixture.
- Gather the butter and squeeze off extra buttermilk using clean hands, or gloves if you’d choose.
- Put the butter in a container after forming it into a block or any other shape you choose.
- Store the butter in the fridge and use it within two weeks.
- Here it is, freshly prepared butter that you can eat on toast, incorporate into dishes, or simply savour on its own. I promise you that once you try homemade butter, you won’t want to buy store-bought again.
- As much as I like creating and enjoying my homemade butter, I hope you do too. Until then, have fun cooking!
