Soft & Tender No-Mixer Donuts


  1. 1 liter of heated milk
  2. 35 grammes of sugar
  3. Five grams of instant yeast
  4. 1 egg and 1 tsp frying oil
  5. 325 grams of bread flour
  6. Half a teaspoon of baking powder
  7. and one-fourth of salt
  8. fifteen grams of butter


Nutella with caster sugar (for filling)


  • Combine warm milk, sugar, and instant yeast in a bowl. Until foamy, let it sit for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • After adding the egg and frying oil, add the baking powder, salt, and bread flour gradually. Stir to make a dough.
  • Using a slightly floured surface, knead the dough for 8 to 10 minutes, or until it’s smooth.
  • Mix in the butter and knead the dough until it is well incorporated and elastic.
  • Once the dough has doubled in size, cover and let it rise in a warm location for one hour.
  • Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2 inch. thickness, then cut into the form of donuts and leave to rise for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Donuts should be fried in hot oil until they are golden brown on all sides. Use paper towels to absorb surplus oil.
    Use a piping bag to fill heated donuts with Nutella or roll them in caster sugar.
