Eggless Yogurt Donuts Recipe

I made these egg-free fluffy donuts out of a craving once!

Ingredients:

  1. 800g of flour, grade 00
  2. 400 milliliters of somewhat heated water
  3. 125g of plain yogurt and 50g of sugar
  4. 30 grams of butter
  5. Half a teaspoon of salt
  6. 8g of dried yeast or 24g of fresh yeast
  7. Peel a lemon
  8. Caster sugar
  9. oil for deep-frying

Guidelines:

  • Combine yeast, sugar, salt, and flour.
  • Stir in yogurt, melted butter, and warm water.
  • Work into a silky dough it an hour to rise.
  • Roll out the dough, cut the donuts, and give them a 20-minute rest.
  • Fry till golden brown in corn oil.
  • Sprinkle with the lemon peel and caster sugar.
