Air-fryer banana bread

Air-fryer banana bread

You can add chocolate chips and pecans, or any other nuts you like, to give this classic a taste boost. For simplicity, prepare this in the air fryer.
Ingredients:
  1. 150ml of vegetable or sunflower oil plus additional for the tin
  2. 150 grammes of caster sugar
  3. 150 grammes of flour with self-rising
  4. One teaspoon of baking powder
  5. two eggs
  6. Two overripe bananas
  7. 50g chopped pecans (optional)
  8. 50g chocolate chips, if desired

Directions:

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Give your air fryer a five-minute warmup period at 320°F (160°C).
  2. Get the batter ready:
Using a fork, mash the ripe bananas in a mixing dish until they are smooth.
  3. To the mashed bananas, add the melted butter, egg, granulated sugar, and vanilla essence. Mix thoroughly until fully incorporated.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: Combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate basin.
  5. Blend Wet and Dry Ingredients: Stir the dry ingredients into the banana mixture gradually until they are well combined. Take cautious not to blend too much.
  6. Fold in extra ingredients, such as chocolate chips, chopped nuts, or dried fruit, if preferred.
  7. Get the pan ready:
Use cooking spray or a little butter to grease a small loaf pan that fits inside the basket of your air fryer.
  8. Bake in the Air Fryer:

Using a spatula, level the top of the loaf pan after adding the banana bread batter.

In the basket of the preheated air fryer, place the loaf pan.

  9. Air Fry the Banana Bread:

A toothpick placed into the centre of the banana bread should come out clean after 20 to 25 minutes of cooking it at 320°F (160°C) in the air fryer.
For even baking, you might want to turn the pan halfway through cooking.
Chill and Present:

After the banana bread has finished cooking, carefully take the loaf pan out of the air fryer and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
Before slicing and serving, move the banana bread to a wire rack to cool fully.

Savour your tasty banana bread from the air fryer for a snack or dessert!
