Butter Steak Bites with Mushrooms

Butter Steak Bites with Mushrooms

Butter Steak Bites with Mushrooms is a delightful dish that combines tender, juicy steak pieces with earthy mushrooms, all cooked to perfection in a rich, buttery sauce. This savory recipe is perfect for a quick weeknight meal or a sophisticated appetizer for gatherings. The steak bites are seared to achieve a caramelized crust while retaining a tender and juicy interior, and the mushrooms are sautéed until golden brown, soaking up the delicious flavors of the garlic and butter. The combination of steak and mushrooms creates a harmonious blend of textures and tastes, making it a crowd-pleaser that’s both easy to prepare and impressive to serve.

Ingredients:
  1.  A pound of beef tenderloin
  2.  2 ½ tablespoons of oil
  3.  ½ tablespoon Tony Chachere Creole Seasoning
  4.  ¾ teaspoon paprika
  5.  ¾ teaspoon onion powder
  6.  ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  7.  2 cups of baby bella mushrooms (sliced)
  8.  1 tablespoon oil
  9.  2 ½ tablespoons butter

Steps to Unleash the Flavor:

  1.  Combine creole seasoning, paprika, onion powder, and black pepper in a bowl to create your seasoning mix.
  2. Slice your beef tenderloin into 1½-inch by 1-inch pieces.
  3. Toss your steak bites, sliced mushrooms, oil, and the seasoning mix into a bowl.
  4. Mix well until the steak and mushrooms are thoroughly coated. Let it marinate for 30 minutes to 1½ hours.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes. Cook your marinated mixture in the air fryer at 400°F for 6-10 minutes, in 2 separate batches to ensure even cooking.

TIP:

  • Arrange the beef in a single layer with a small space in between so they don’t steam. Mushrooms can be cooked separately at 400°F for 6 minutes.
 NOTE:
  • 6 minutes will give you a rarer steak. 10 minutes will result in a medium-well steak.
  • Toss the cooked mushrooms and steak pieces in a bowl with butter. Sprinkle with additional creole seasoning or salt if you wish.
  • Serve with your choice of rice, roasted broccoli, noodles, brussels sprouts, couscous, roasted carrots, or a green salad. Enjoy!
This simple, quick, and delicious recipe will change your dinner game forever! Say goodbye to stovetop cooking and embrace the air fryer revolution!
