CHEESY GARLIC BREAD IN AIR FRYER

CHEESY GARLIC BREAD IN AIR FRYER

In an air fryer, garlic bread is actually done in three minutes. Alternatively, bake it! Add some mozzarella cheese to the herbed garlic butter to give it a little extra kick. Then, pair this crispy, cheesy delight with your favourite soup or pasta.

This buttery, crispy Garlic Bread is the perfect comfort food. In just three minutes, the air fryer is ready.

Ingredients:

  1.  1 loaf of French bread
  2. 100 grammes of softened unsalted butter
  3. One tablespoon of olive oil
  4. 5–6 minced garlic cloves
  5. 3–4 tablespoons of chopped chives
  6. One tsp of dried Italian herbs
  7. One tsp of dehydrated parsley

Optional:

  1. ½ teaspoon red chilli flakes
  2. ¼ teaspoon salt
  3. One cup of finely shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

  1. Combine the olive oil, butter, garlic, chives, dried Italian herbs, dried parsley, red chilli flakes, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Mix everything thoroughly using a fork.
  3. Cut the French bread in half lengthwise in the middle. To get four quarters, cut each slice into two further pieces.
  4. Spread a liberal amount of garlic butter over each slice of bread using a butter knife.
  5. Evenly cover with shredded mozzarella cheese, then scatter some chopped chives and Italian herbs on top.

To air fry bread:

place it in a single layer in an air fryer that has been preheated. Cook for 3–4 minutes at 200 °C (400 °F) or until the cheese is completely melted and browned.

For oven:

Place the bread on a baking tray in a preheated oven. Once the cheese is browned on top, bake it for 8 minutes at 200 °C (400 °F) and then broil it for 2 minutes.
Cut, then warmly serve!

Notes

  • If you are using salted butter, skip the salt in the recipe.
  • You can use fresh parsley instead of chives.

VARIATIONS:

  • Spread pesto for a burst of basil flavour.
  • Add a little Parmesan to the garlic butter mixture.
  • Instead of using red chilli peppers, use jalapeños.
Add more pepperoni or shredded chicken to make it more meaty.
  • Add chopped bell pepper and black olives as toppings to give it a pizza-inspired look.
