  • Add the refried beans, taco seasoning, and water, and continue to simmer for approximately five minutes, or until the majority of the liquid has been absorbed.
  • Utilise a tortilla to line the bottom of the pan that has been prepared. Distribute one-fifth of the beef mixture in a uniform layer over the tortilla, and then sprinkle a quarter cup of the cheese over top. To finish, place a tortilla on top of the tortilla. Repeat the layers of tortilla, beef, and cheese.
  • Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top, and bake for approximately twenty minutes, or until the cheese has melted and turned a golden brown colour.
  • After allowing it to cool for five minutes, slice it and serve it. You can serve it with toppings if you like. Have fun!
