FOR HOW LONG IS OMELETTE COOKED IN AN AIR FRYER?
The amount of time it takes to cook an omelette in an air fryer might vary depending on a few things, such as the temperature you cook at, whether you preheat it, and how many eggs you cook. As is always the case, air fryers work differently.
Without preheating, my air fryer omelette usually cooks in 8 to 10 minutes at 350°F. Keep an eye on the omelette and inspect it with a toothpick to make sure it’s cooked through—if it comes out clean, the omelette is done.
STORING AND REHEATING TIPS:
Any leftover omelette can be kept in the fridge for up to three days in an airtight container. You can use an air fryer or microwave to reheat.
To reheat in the air fryer, just put the omelette in the basket and cook for two to three minutes, or until thoroughly heated, at 350°F.
Reheat in the microwave at 20 secs intervals till warmed through.
AIR FRYING TIPS FOR A BEAUTIFUL AND FLUSHY OMELETTE
- Making an omelette using an air fryer doesn’t require preheating.
- To keep the basket from sticking, coat it with a tiny bit of oil or use nonstick frying spray.
- Try varying the fillings by trying different combinations of spinach, bacon, onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes.
- Once done, gently remove the omelette from the pan by swiping a silicone spatula around it.
- You can use Parmesan cheese in place of the cheddar cheese for an extra crispy texture. In the final minute of cooking, top the omelette with a little grated Parmesan cheese.
