Ingredients:

For the Chicken Marinade:

  1. 1 tbsp oil
  2. 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  3. 200g boneless chicken
  4. 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
  5. 1 tsp red chili powder
  6. 1 tsp dry coriander powder
  7. 1 tsp cumin powder
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1 tsp red chili flakes
  10. 1 tsp tandoori masala (optional)
  11. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  12. 1 cup yogurt

For the Sauce:

  1. 2-3 tbsp mayonnaise
  2. Salt to taste
  3. 1 tsp red chili powder
  4. 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  5. Fresh coriander, chopped

For Assembling:

  1. Tortillas
  2. Red cabbage
  3. Onion slices
  4. Tomato, julienned
  5. Lettuce
  6. Butter (for cooking)

Instructions:

  1. One tablespoon oil, chopped garlic, boneless chicken pieces, half a teaspoon salt, one teaspoon red chilli powder, one teaspoon dry coriander powder, one teaspoon cumin powder, half a teaspoon turmeric powder, one teaspoon red chilli flakes, one teaspoon tandoori masala (if used), and one tablespoon lemon juice should all be combined in a bowl.
  2. To the chicken mixture, add one cup of yoghurt. Mix thoroughly, then let it marinade for half an hour or more.
  3. To make the sauce, combine 2-3 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, and finely chopped fresh coriander in a separate bowl. Season to taste. Put aside.
  4. Cook the marinated chicken in a skillet with a little oil over medium heat until it’s cooked through and tender. Put aside.
  5. Warm the coverings before assembling them.
  6. Spread a thick layer of the prepared sauce on a tortilla, then top with cooked chicken chunks, red cabbage, onion slices, julienned tomato, and lettuce.
    To construct a wrap, fold the tortilla in half and roll it securely.
  7. Put the wrap seam-side down in a pan with some heated butter. Stir and cook until golden brown.
